137: Kabbalah = the Fine-Structure Constant
correspondences
nature
קבלה (Kabbalah) = 137 by gematria — and 1/137.036 is the fine-structure constant α, the dimensionless number setting how light couples to matter, which Feynman called "one of the greatest damn mysteries of physics." Pauli was obsessed with 137 (and died, as he noted with alarm, in hospital room 137); his correspondence with Jung circles the number for years. The app presents this as the tradition's favorite cosmic wink: the word for "reception" numerically equal to the constant governing how matter receives light. A coincidence — which is exactly what the tradition says nothing is.
