Ramchal's writings (Mesillat Yesharim, KLaCH Pitchei Chokhmah)רמח"ל

Moshe Chaim Luzzatto — playwright, kabbalist, accused messianic conspirator, exile: his 138 Openings of Wisdom decode Luria as philosophy (tzimtzum as the concealment that makes free will and history possible; all of it aimed at revealed divine unity), while his ethics manual Mesillat Yesharim became the standard ladder of character even in circles that ban his Kabbalah. The system's great translator into purpose.
