The worm-tree

Take one person's worm and follow it back through the mother, and the mother's through hers. The worms nest: yours is a branch of hers, hers of her mother's, without a break anywhere. What you get is not a family chart — a chart is a diagram of names — but a single physically continuous object in four dimensions, tapering back through deep time.

⚠ And it is not the Tree of Life with different labels. The Tree emanates downward: it is a cosmology, a diagram of how anything came to be at all, and it is drawn from the top. The worm-tree accumulates backward: it is an anatomy, and it is drawn from you. Same picture-shape, opposite direction of argument. The room shows them side by side precisely so the difference is visible.

Tehiru is a walk-in model of the Kabbalistic Tree of Life and its kindred ways — built to be explored, not read. This page is a still frame of one node; the app is where it moves.
