Idra Zutaאדרא זוטא

"The Small Assembly": Rabbi Shimon's deathbed scene. He spends his last day revealing what was withheld at the Great Assembly, arranges his own departure like a bridegroom, and dies on the word "life" (chaim) as light fills the house. Read aloud at Lag ba-Omer at his tomb in Meron by hundreds of thousands to this day — the only literary death-scene with an annual festival.
