☬ the society that spliced

the society that spliced — Wing L, the SECOND descendants' bench, and it shares a spine with the first. The Theosophical Society was constituted in New York on 17 November 1875 for the 'study and elucidation of Occultism, the Cabala etc.' — thirteen years before the Golden Dawn, and the turn to India came afterwards with the Kabbalistic scaffolding already in place. Gershom Scholem's own assessment is that Blavatsky read her Kabbalah in Knorr von Rosenroth's Latin, the SAME anthology Mathers translated: two enormous nineteenth-century syntheses, one bottleneck. Four panels. ⊟ THE SPLICE, which does not explain that ten will not go into seven — it makes you do it, fold by fold, and keeps a receipt with two lines on it: folds you decided, and folds any primary source decided. The second number never moves. ⌥ THE CHANNEL, the two chains walked side by side to the place they touch. ⚖ THE TWO LEDGERS, a balance that tips and never rests, because Olcott's Buddhist schools and the root races of The Secret Doctrine are both real and are not in the same unit — and the room refuses to invent an exchange rate. ✂ 1929, Krishnamurti dissolving the Order of the Star: truth is a pathless land. Credit comes first here and it is large. Nothing is invoked; the race material is named plainly and not excused.
