THE ATLAS OF THE UNPAINTABLE
The Congress for Cultural Freedom
the CCF
nature

The documented part, and it is not in dispute: the funding was covert and it was real. What is in dispute is what it MEANT for the paintings — whether the artists were instruments, beneficiaries, or simply unaware people whose work suited somebody's argument.
