Hilma af Klint, Anna Cassel, Cornelia Cederberg, Sigrid Hedman and Mathilda Nilsson. They met weekly: a prayer, a meditation, a sermon, a reading from the New Testament, then a séance — and from 1896, automatic drawings.

The art world had no category for a picture with no subject and no author, so it had no category for them either. This node exists because "Hilma af Klint" as a lone genius is the wrong story about what happened.
