THE ATLAS OF THE EMPTY THRONE

Bardo Thödol · the Tibetan Book of the Dead

Bardo Thödol
nature
Read aloud to the dying and the dead over forty-nine days. It maps the between-state in three stages: the clear light at the moment of death, which is liberation itself if recognised; then the peaceful and wrathful deities, repeatedly and explicitly declared to be projections of your own mind; then the drift toward a womb. The instruction never changes: recognise.

The tradition's afterlife map — and the one text in this pack you can walk rather than read, in the sibling app.

Tehiru is a walk-in model of the Kabbalistic Tree of Life and its kindred ways — built to be explored, not read. This page is a still frame of one node; the app is where it moves.
