THE ATLAS OF THE EMPTY THRONE

Rodger Kamenetz

Kamenetz
nature
The poet who went along to Dharamsala in 1990 to observe and wrote it up as The Jew in the Lotus (1994) — an account that became the book of a generation of Jewish Buddhists who had gone east partly because nobody told them the mystical wing at home had a door.

The chronicler of the deliberate crossing, and the reason it is a shared story rather than a footnote.

whyHod again: the one who wrote it down is why the meeting exists for anyone who was not in the room.

Tehiru is a walk-in model of the Kabbalistic Tree of Life and its kindred ways — built to be explored, not read. This page is a still frame of one node; the app is where it moves.
