THE ATLAS OF THE EMPTY THRONE
Śūnyatā · emptiness
śūnyatā
nature
Not nothingness. Emptiness of independent existence: nothing carries its own being inside itself, everything is what it is by relation and context — including emptiness, which is itself empty and must not be turned into a new absolute.
The centre of Mahāyāna, and the single most-abused rhyme in comparative mysticism — which is exactly why the pack states the distinction rather than enjoying the resemblance.

sephirahketer
whyThe thread goes to Keter and Ayin because everyone sends it there, and then reports the difference: Ayin is a fullness so complete that language reads it as absence; śūnyatā is the finding that no independent thing was ever there to be full. Say they are the same and you have flattered both traditions and understood neither.
