THE ATLAS OF THE ORDER THAT TOOK

The two pillars · three different objects

the two pillars
nature
Scripture: Jachin and Boaz, 1 Kings 7 — a bowl chapiter, chain-work, two rows of pomegranates, lily-work for a crown. The lodge: terrestrial and celestial globes on top, 18th-century Masonic furniture with no scriptural source. The tarot: black and white columns lettered B and J with a veil between, which is Waite, 1909.

Three objects fused into one picture — and the picture almost everyone carries is the third. The globes stood in this app's own pardes until 2026-07-25, when they were removed and rehoused in this wing. And the Tree's pillars are three, run parallel, and never touch; the Temple's two flank a gate.

whyFiled at the heart of the middle pillar deliberately: the column that resolves the pair is the one this whole confusion leaves out.
