THE ATLAS OF THE ORDER THAT TOOK

nature
A book that is almost entirely tables. Thirty-two rows — ten sephirot, twenty-two paths — cross-indexed against Hebrew letters, tarot trumps, planets, elements, the four colour scales, Egyptian, Greek, Hindu and Norse deities, animals, plants, stones, perfumes and drugs.
The reference object twentieth-century occultism actually ran on. To a large extent "doing Qabalah" in English has meant performing a lookup in 777. Set it beside the Sefer Yetzirah and the difference in kind is this wing's whole argument: one is a language people prayed in, the other is an index.
