Mathers' English rendering of the Zohar's three "Assembly" treatises, with a long introduction — the Golden Dawn's foundation text and the book that put the Idrot into occult English.

A translation of a translation, conceded in its own preface. The Latin was the working text; the original was the fallback, consulted where the Latin looked doubtful. Aramaic → Latin → English, with a frame applied in the middle.

Principally taken from the Latin version of Knorr von Rosenroth, but also collated with the original Chaldee and Hebrew text.
