THE ATLAS OF THE ALIEN SPARK

The craftsman · the maker who does not look up

the craftsman
nature
δημιουργός, "craftsman" — a word Plato used admiringly in the Timaeus, which the Gnostics kept and turned. In their telling the world's maker is Sophia's solitary offspring: competent, industrious, genuinely the author of everything visible, and ignorant of what is above him. His characteristic line, quoted from Isaiah and Exodus and turned against them: I am God and there is no other beside me.

The fork in the road. Everything else — evil, matter, the body, the point of religion — follows from whether you split the source or refuse to.

Tehiru is a walk-in model of the Kabbalistic Tree of Life and its kindred ways — built to be explored, not read. This page is a still frame of one node; the app is where it moves.
