THE ATLAS OF THE ALIEN SPARK
The unexplained rhyme · sparks in shells, 1400 years later
the unexplained rhyme
nature
Third-century Manichaean and Gnostic sources: particles of light imprisoned in matter, liberated by human action, including by EATING with the right disposition. Sixteenth-century Lurianic Kabbalah: nitzotzot, sparks of a shattered light, held in kelipot — shells — and raised by human action, including by eating with intention.
Scholem called this one of the great puzzles of the field and nobody has produced a channel. It is the strongest unexplained resemblance in the entire annex, and it is stated here as a puzzle rather than smoothed into a story.
