THE ATLAS OF THE ALIEN SPARK

Allogenes

Allogenes
nature
A contemplative ascent text with almost no myth in it: the seer withdraws through stages of knowing toward an Unknowable that can be approached only by a "primary revelation" beyond all thought. Plotinus's circle in Rome read texts of this family and Porphyry says they wrote against them.

The bridge to Neoplatonism, which is the forebears' bench in this same annex. It also shows that not all Gnostic material is mythological — some of it is austere contemplative philosophy.
rhymes with
sephirahketer
whyKeter is the edge of the unknowable. Allogenes is the corpus's most direct attempt to write about that edge without describing it.
