THE ATLAS OF THE ALIEN SPARK

The Thunder, Perfect Mind

The Thunder
nature
A revelation poem with no cosmology, no myth and no argument — only a voice, feminine, speaking in paradoxes that refuse to resolve. Nobody knows what movement produced it or what it is for.

The most purely literary thing in the library, and the strongest bridge to the Jewish material: its nearest kin is not a doctrine but a figure — Shekhinah, queen and exile at once, and Wisdom in Proverbs 8 crying in the street where nobody listens.
I am the first and the last. I am the honored one and the scorned one. I am the whore and the holy one. … Do not be ignorant of me anywhere or any time. Be on your guard!
