THE ATLAS OF THE MOVEMENT THAT MOVED THE ADDRESS

⌖ התבודדות · An hour of talking out loud, alone

Nachman's central practice: go somewhere nobody can hear you — a field, a room at night — and speak to God in your own language, out loud, for an hour. Not liturgy, not Hebrew, not formulae. Whatever is actually there, including that there is nothing there and you have nothing to say.

⭐⭐⭐ The most demanding instruction in the wing precisely because it removes every support. There is no text to hide behind and no state you are supposed to reach. Nachman explicitly says that an hour spent saying I have nothing to say is a valid hour — which makes it the rare spiritual practice that cannot be performed badly, and therefore cannot be performed for an audience.

Tehiru is a walk-in model of the Kabbalistic Tree of Life and its kindred ways — built to be explored, not read. This page is a still frame of one node; the app is where it moves.
