THE ATLAS OF THE MOVEMENT THAT MOVED THE ADDRESS

Nachman of Breslov

Nachman
nature
The Besht's great-grandson, and the strangest figure in the movement: a teacher who told thirteen long, unexplained fairy tales as his highest teaching, who was tormented by doubt he refused to resolve, and who appointed no successor — so that Breslov has had no living rebbe for over two centuries.

The one who made the unresolved into the doctrine. Where the rest of the movement offers a channel to God through a living tzaddik, Breslov has a grave and a book. ⭐⭐ And his tales do not come with morals attached, which is the whole point: a story that could be summarised would have been given as a summary.
If you believe it is possible to ruin, believe it is possible to repair.
