Hasidism keeps the mechanism exactly and moves the location: the sparks are in this bread, this transaction, this person in front of you.

In the Hasidic version it belongs to whoever happens to be holding the object — which means an unlettered person doing their job with the right attention is doing cosmic repair, and a scholar who eats without attention is not.
