THE ATLAS OF THE EMERALD TABLET
The Man of Light, and his fall
the Anthropos
nature
In the Poimandres a divine Man is made in the Father's image, leans through the spheres, sees his own reflection in nature, loves it, and descends into it — becoming double: deathless in essence, mortal in body, and in love with what has caught him.
A luminous archetypal Man who falls into matter, and a route back out. Set beside Adam Kadmon, the shattering, and the sparks in the shells, this is the sharpest convergence on the forebears' bench — and there is no documented contact. Two peoples in one province, thinking hard about the same problem.
