THE ATLAS OF THE INMOST SELF
The wheels and the threads
the wheels & threads
nature
Wheels (cakra) strung on a central channel (suṣumnā), with two more channels — iḍā and piṅgalā — winding around it and crossing at each wheel. The wheels' petals count 4 + 6 + 10 + 12 + 16 + 2, and that sum is fifty: the number of letters in the Sanskrit alphabet, one to a petal.
The geometry argues, and it argues against a reskin. The Tree's three pillars run parallel and never touch; these three channels cross at every station. A ladder of balanced opposites, against a braid. And the petals are not decoration — the body is spelled, which is why the app built ⌖ the garland of letters to read them.
