Dārā Shikōh is executed

Defeated by his brother Aurangzeb in the war of succession, paraded through Delhi, tried for apostasy — his interest in the Hindu scriptures entered against him — and killed.

The price of the confluence, and this pack does not soften it. The bench is full of traditions that never met. The one man who made two of them meet on purpose was killed with the translation in evidence.
