CARL JUNG AND THE KABBALAH
Synchronicity
synchronicity
nature
Jung's 1952 essay, published alongside physicist Wolfgang Pauli's essay on Kepler, names what he called an "acausal connecting principle": meaningful coincidences between an inner state and an outer event with no causal link between them, joined only by shared meaning.
⭐⭐⭐ THIS APP HAS BEEN USING JUNG'S OWN WORD FOR ITS OWN THIRD GRADE OF CONNECTION SINCE BEFORE THIS WING EXISTED. ⊙ connections.js computes a grade it calls, in its own code, "③ synchronicity" — a link between two nodes with no author, no shared entity and no shared sephirah, only shared language surfacing across wings nobody built to agree with each other. That is Jung's definition, applied to data instead of to a life: meaning without a causal channel. ⚠ The app did not know it was quoting him when that engine was written; this node is where the debt gets paid.

whyYesod is the channel — and synchronicity is Jung's name for a meaning that arrives without using one.
