THE ATLAS OF THE ONE AND THE MANY

The henads

the henads
nature
Proclus's answer to how an utterly simple One can relate to a many: a rank of unities crowning the centre, each of them fully divine, each a distinct manner in which the One is participated, together mediating a source that in itself cannot be reached.

Formally the same solution the sephirot are, three centuries early. The claim is not that Proclus taught the sephirot — his unities are gods, carrying no Torah, no exile, no repair. The claim is narrower and stranger: the Kabbalah inherited a solved problem, and filled the solution with revelation.

Tehiru is a walk-in model of the Kabbalistic Tree of Life and its kindred ways — built to be explored, not read. This page is a still frame of one node; the app is where it moves.
