THE ATLAS OF THE REALITY TUNNEL

Kerry Thornley & Greg Hill

Thornley & Hill
nature
Two Californian teenagers who in 1958–63 invented Discordianism — a religion disguised as a joke disguised as a religion — and wrote the Principia Discordia. Thornley had, by grim coincidence, served in the Marines with Lee Harvey Oswald.

Wilson met them, joined in, and the Discordian idea of deliberately absurd belief-systems became his working method: guerrilla ontology, Operation Mindfuck, the Law of Fives.
