Dilts's ladder: environment, behaviour, capability, belief and value, identity, and beyond-identity. A change at a higher level propagates downward; a change below rarely propagates up.

Popular, practically handy, and formally shaky — it borrows Bateson's levels of learning without inheriting their logic. Useful as a checklist, unsafe as a theory.
