THE ATLAS OF THE REALITY TUNNEL

Non-Aristotelian logic

non-Aristotelian
nature
Not the rejection of Aristotle but the refusal of three of his laws as universal: identity (A is A), excluded middle (either A or not-A), non-contradiction as applied to real processes. Korzybski's system is non-Aristotelian in the way non-Euclidean geometry is non-Euclidean — a wider frame in which the old one is a special case.

This is the technical heart. Wilson's "maybe" is a popularisation of it; multi-valued and fuzzy logics are its formal cousins.
