Representational systems (VAKOG)

The claim that experience is internally re-presented in sensory modalities — visual, auditory, kinaesthetic, olfactory, gustatory — and that people have habitual preferences detectable in their verbs.

Included with a warning: the "preferred representational system" and its matching have not survived testing. What survives is the weaker and still useful observation that people describe experience in sensory-specific language, and that noticing it improves listening.
