THE ATLAS OF THE REALITY TUNNEL

De Umbris Idearum

the shadows of ideas
nature
His first great memory book, dedicated to the King of France: concentric wheels of images, letters and figures that turn against each other, so that any idea can be found by combination — a moving architecture of shadows standing in for things.

The art of memory at its most combinatorial — Llull's wheels crossed with the image-palaces of the ancients. A reader of this app will recognise both moves: the turning wheel of pairings, and ideas given places in a walkable space.

Tehiru is a walk-in model of the Kabbalistic Tree of Life and its kindred ways — built to be explored, not read. This page is a still frame of one node; the app is where it moves.
