Principia Discordia

Discordia
nature
Greg Hill and Kerry Thornley's photocopied scripture of Eris, goddess of discord — a religion that instructs its readers to make up their own and hands out ordination certificates to anybody.

The founding document of the modern joke-that-is-not-a-joke, and the root of a great deal of this section. Its actual doctrine is sharp: that order and disorder are both patterns imposed by the observer, and that the imposing is the thing to watch. That is the reality-tunnel argument, delivered as a gag, twelve years before Wilson wrote it out straight — and ⊞ the reality tunnel is where the app takes it seriously.
