The Incal

The Incal
nature
Alejandro Jodorowsky and Mœbius. A detective is given a luminous crystal and dragged through a cosmology of light and dark, ascent and descent. Jodorowsky's parallel life's work is the tarot — he spent decades on the restoration of the Tarot de Marseille and wrote a book on reading it.

Declared because Jodorowsky has never stopped saying where his material comes from. ⚠ And he is a useful hard case for this bench: his tarot work goes back to the Marseille deck, which is a genuinely older object than Lévi's attributions — a card game printed in Europe for centuries before anybody welded it to the Hebrew letters. Not everything in the tarot is the 1855 weld, and this app should not pretend otherwise.
