THE ATLAS OF THE SCREENS

The SCP Foundation

SCP
nature
A collaboratively written archive, now many thousands of entries long, of anomalous objects and entities — each with a containment class, a procedure for keeping it from harming anyone, and a clinical incident log.

The grimoire, rebuilt from scratch by everybody, in public, with version history. Compare the object it resembles: a medieval grimoire is exactly this — a catalogue of dangerous entities with a rank, a description, and a procedure for handling them safely. The SCP Foundation reinvented the genre without borrowing from it, and then added the one thing no grimoire ever had: an edit log showing who claimed what, and when, and what was revised. ⚠ That is a better provenance apparatus than most of the traditions on this bench.

sephirahbinah
whyBinah, the containing vessel — which is, quite literally, the site's central concept.

Tehiru is a walk-in model of the Kabbalistic Tree of Life and its kindred ways — built to be explored, not read. This page is a still frame of one node; the app is where it moves.
