nature
The wandering dervish who met Rūmī in Konya in 1244, spent perhaps two years in near-total seclusion with him, and then vanished — possibly murdered by Rūmī's own students, who wanted their teacher back.

The transmission that is a person, not a text. This annex keeps finding these: Ammonius who wrote nothing, the maggid, the teacher who is the whole channel. Rūmī named his book of poems after him rather than himself.
