THE ATLAS OF THE POLISHED MIRROR
⚠ Tawḥīd — where the neighbour refuses the Tree
⚠ tawḥīd · the refusal
nature
Islam's foundational assertion is the absolute, unqualified oneness of God, and its gravest sin is shirk — associating anything with Him. The ninety-nine are Names of the One, not powers within Him, not stations of an unfolding, and emphatically not a structure through which He becomes many.
Read this node against the ⇲ align dial. Most of this pack goes home, because the neighbours really did trade. This one pulls hard, and the pull means more here than anywhere else on the bench: these two traditions knew each other well. Jews read Sufi manuals; Muslims read Jewish philosophers. So the refusal is not ignorance and not distance — it is an informed no, and an informed no is worth more than a hundred easy rhymes. The sephirot, offered to this neighbour, are precisely what this neighbour will not take.
