Zayin

The Fencer. Zayin is a crowned Vav — connection that learned to cut. She defends the Sabbath (Zayin = 7) with a blade of rest: the sharpest thing she ever does is stop. Elegant, precise, a little dangerous at parties.

Zayin offered the seventh day: create the world with me, for I am Shabbat. But the world had to be made before it could rest. She was promised the crown of the seventh instead — every week ends inside her.
