The flash. Wisdom in Kabbalah is not accumulated knowledge but the instantaneous, undivided seed of insight — the whole idea arriving at once, before it can be spoken. Chokhmah is called Abba, Father, and its inner experience is described as self-nullification: the mind at the moment it is struck by lightning has no self to speak of. The Zohar derives it from koach mah — "the potential of what-is".

"Wisdom is found from nothing" (Job 28:12 read mystically): the Zohar reads this as Chokhmah emerging from the Ayin of Keter.
