Hekhalot (of the Zohar)היכלות

The Zohar's own tour of the seven palaces — two full itineraries (in Bereshit and Pekudei) mapping the chambers of the Garden through which prayer ascends, each palace with its gatekeeper, its colors, its species of spirit. The old Merkavah architecture rebuilt inside the sephirotic system: the palaces become stations of Malkhut-through-Binah rather than a rival heaven.
