Sandalphonסנדלפון

Metatron's twin at the other pole: where Metatron stands at the Crown, Sandalphon stands on the earth — so tall the Talmud says a five-hundred-year journey separates his feet from his head. His job description is the tradition's loveliest: he gathers the prayers of Israel and weaves them into crowns for the Holy One. Identified with the ascended Elijah in later lore: the second human on the org chart.
