Mantra · मन्त्र · sound as instrument
correspondences
nature
Sound treated not as a description of a thing but as the thing's subtle body — the syllable as an instrument that works rather than a label that refers. Vedic recitation preserved to the phoneme across three millennia because the sound is the efficacy; tantric bīja syllables that are the deity in seed. This is the deepest structural rhyme the whole kindred-ways annex contains, and it now appears on three doors at once: the Hebrew letters that are engraved and hewn and combined into everything that exists, the Vajrayāna seed-syllable that is the Buddha-form, and here. Three traditions, no contact between the far ones, one conviction — a sound is not a symbol for a thing but a thing.
