The Kybalion

Published in Chicago in 1908 by "Three Initiates" — in fact almost certainly William Walker Atkinson alone — and honest provenance matters: this is a New Thought book, not an ancient one. It does not transmit the Hermetica so much as systematize a modern reading of it into the Seven Principles, and it is the source of every "seven hermetic laws" list in circulation. Kept here as what it is: a late, clear, useful ladder — labeled, not antiqued. The principles are worth thinking with; the pedigree is 1908.
