Brahman · ब्रह्मन् · the absolute
correspondences
nature
The ground of everything, approached in two registers the tradition is careful to distinguish: nirguṇa Brahman, without qualities, beyond every predicate — and saguṇa Brahman, with qualities, the absolute as it can be worshipped and addressed. That distinction is very nearly the Kabbalah's own architecture. Ein Sof admits no attribute, no name, no description; the sefirot are how the unknowable becomes something a human being can face, address, and love. Two traditions arriving independently at the same solution to the same problem: how do you pray to what cannot be spoken of? You do not. You pray to its face. The rhyme is structural and it is real — but note the direction of travel differs, and the next node is where.
